One of Mother Teresa’s favorite texts in the Bible, which she often quoted to support her ministry to the poor, is “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40, 45, (NIV).
This program is so easy to participate in. All you have to do is share, your food, your old cloths/stuff and of course your money.
If you’ve never known poverty, it would be impossible to feel a compassion to give when and where there is a need. But I also find it hard to believe that there isn’t anyone (even in the “so-called” developed countries) who hasn’t felt the effects of not having enough.
There is an old saying that goes “you can’t help everyone” and that is true, but “you can help someone.” It also says that “you can’t do everything” and that also is true, but “you can do something.” The problem with saying “You cannot do something” or saying “you can do something” is that you are absolutely right either way.
The program “I Love To Give” and partner “everythingfreestore.com gives all of us the opportunity to give back out of love. They also shows the world that you are a believer, that you follow the Bible, that you walk in Jesus’ footsteps.
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.
“Please, give from your heart, give much and give often”
