Why become a “Grief Fighter Mentor”?
It’s common for a first time “Grief Fighter Mentor” to feel anxious and a little intimidated in their new supportive role. This is one of the reasons why many people who want to support a grieving person have doubts. This is why “Grief Fighters Anonymous” has created the “Online Mentorship Program” which provides the “Grief Fighter Mentor” with everything they need to help, support, and walk with anyone suffering from “Grief”.
A Grief Fighter Mentor will offer practical support to a grieving person, for two main reasons (1) because their deceased loved one used to handle certain things and fill certain roles and (2) because grief makes it hard to care about the normal day-to-day stuff.

Heavenly Father “Please give me the Faith, and inner strength today, to be the person you want me to be, and do the things that will Glorify Your Name.”
Note:
Letters will be used instead of titles
A Grief Fighter Mentor (GFM) and a Travel Companion (TC) are one in the same.
“Grief Fighters Anonymous” will be referred to as (GFA)
“Grief Fighter Mentor” will be referred to as (GFM)
“Travel Companion” will be referred to as (TC)
“A Passport Holder” will be referred to as (PH)
To accompany the “Holy Bible” which is the ultimate guide book for all believers, the “Grief Fighters Anonymous” organization will be using “The Passport Series” book # one called “The 16 Stages of Grief” as its official guide and workbook.
The Passport Workbook #1 “The Sixteen Stages Of Grief”
If you want to move on with your life, just listen to what God has to say:
“I know your heart is hurting today. It hurts to think and breathe. It hurts to remember. It hurts to think about going forward. In these moments, I want to challenge you to stop, breathe, and think of me. I will give you hope for the future that at this moment you simply can’t comprehend.”
This workbook and the other 14 workbooks, will be supported by the Holy Bible to guide millions and millions of Christian men and women of all present and future generations of believers until our Lord and Savior returns.
God knows you are suffering and so does your “Grief Fighter Mentor” (GFM)/ “Travel Companion” (TC). You can count on God and your (GFM) to walk with you until the end of the road called “Grief.”
Become a “Grief Fighter Mentor” (TC) and help grieving people to not only conquer grief, but defeat it over and over again.
Note:
We can be tempted to turn a blind eye from the prominent Godly road signs in favor of the fast food signs that lure us to the next exit. But running on the road God has in mind, requires moving steadily, humbly, and lovingly toward the great things He has in store for us.
A common Grief Fighter Mentor/Traveling Companion definition is “a person or persons with whom you have coordinated travel arrangements, shares the same accommodations as you and also shares the same goals.”
To carry on the duties of a “Grief Fighter Mentor” will require a Holy Bible, a Passport Series workbooks 1 to 15 and “The Mentor Recognition program”. Also copies of “Shipwreck and a road called Grief,” which is the sequel to (John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress) and “A collection of 12 Life-Changing Short Stories” written by JAlexander to be used by “Grief Fighter Mentors” to help all grieving people travel the road called Grief.

How to become a “Grief Fighter Mentor”/ “Travel Companion”
One of the very first things a “Grief Fighter Mentor will learn is why and how to put on the six (6) pieces of the “Armor of God.”
Belt of Truth – It refers to the “Truths of Scripture”
Breastplate of Righteousness – Protects us from Satan’s “accusations and charges.”
Shoes of the Gospel – Allows us to march wherever “Our Lord” leads.
Shield of Faith – Protects us from the “Fiery Darts” of the evil one.
Helmet of Salvation – Protects our heads, which are the seat of “all thought and the mind.”
Sword of the spirit – God’s word “The Bible” defends us like a two-edged sword.
There should not be any confusion between a “Grief Fighter Mentor” (GF) and a “Travel Companion” (TC) because they are one in the same. In “Grief Fighters Anonymous” a (GFM) is used to describe what a person does, and in workbook #1 “The 16 Stages of Grief” the term (TC) is used to describe the “Passport Holders” companion.
When a member completes their “ GFA Mentorship Program” they become a (GFA)/(TC).
Everything they will need is in the Bible and in the Passport workbooks 1 to 11. All of the other materials needed will be offered as you progress in the program.
What are you waiting for? Start the “GFA Mentorship Program” today and begin helping grieving people tomorrow.
Your Reward
Your greatest reward will be the many thanks you will receive from those “who were going through the loss of a loved one” and you stayed with them down the dark road called grief until they could see the light, and able to make it on their own.
Of course your ultimate reward will come when you go before our Lord and Savior on “Judgment day.”
If you can help one person through their grief, you should consider yourself a successful “Grief Fighter Mentor”.
Grief Fighter Mentors ask themselves, what are the things people need when they are going through their grief period?
A GFA Mentor can help with things like: (assuming you live close)
Help with day to day tasks
Help looking after children and pets
Helping the griever sort through their loved one’s belongings
Help keep the house clean
Help with odd jobs around the house
Help the griever with tasks they never had to do before
Prepare some meals
Give them a place to stay if being in their home gets to be too much
Accompany them on certain outings
One of the most important roles a “Grief Fighter Mentor” can get into is “Just Being There”. Of course, that means both physically, mentally and emotionally. And when a “Grief Fighter mentor” says – “let me know if you need anything” they mean it from the bottom of their hearts.
A “Grief Fighter Mentor” will stay with you in complete darkness, until you can see the light.
Dear Grief Fighter Mentor
The management, and staff would like to personally welcome you to our “Grief Fighters Anonymous” family.
With Respect
